East Cambridge

535 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA 02141
At East Cambridge, we are one big family! We are always there for each other through the ups and downs. When you walk into East Cambridge, you will hear music playing in the background, and you’ll listen to children laughing or singing “ba ba ba black sheep” for the 10th time. You will see children reading with a teacher, getting ready to go outside. We love taking trips to the local parks and libraries.
Our largest location spans a campus of three sites at 527, 535, and 580 Cambridge Street. Two infant classrooms, a transitional infant-toddler room, two toddler rooms, a preschool, and pre-kindergarten room are nestled into storefront spaces in the historic East Cambridge neighborhood. The space also features an indoor gross motor play area for inclement weather.
The site is within walking distance of Lechmere station and Kendall Square, and is serviced directly by the 69 bus. The schools are within walking distance of the newly renovated Valente Public Library and many local public parks, with play equipment, water features, and open space. Limited stroller storage available onsite.

Nicole Moseley, Center Director

My name is Nicole Moseley, but here at East Cambridge, I go by Cole!
I’ve been at the East Cambridge location for about eight years now. When I first came to The East Cambridge location, I started as an assistant teacher at the 527 preschool classroom. It was that classroom that had me fall in love with teaching. Over my years working here, I’ve tried different classrooms, but my heart was always with the preschool. Over the years, I wanted to grow more as a teacher, so I continued taking classes and branching out from teaching.
For a time, I was the program specialist for East Cambridge. I got to work with the teachers on planning and creating a curriculum for the classroom. I love thinking out of the box and coming up with fun and creative lessons and activities.
I love coming to East Cambridge and connecting with all the students and teachers. You’ll still see me visiting the classrooms daily to read in the library, play in a sensory bin, or sing along in a music class.

Pamela Lino, Program Specialist

My name is Pamela Lino

I have been in the early education field for 7 years. I started as a preschool teacher assistant, and began teaching at East Cambridge five years ago as an infant teacher. I have worked in every classroom at the East Cambridge center from infants and toddlers to preschool and I have loved every second of my time with each age group. My heart has always been with our younger friends, the infants. It fills my heart with joy to see them achieve every milestone from rolling over to crawling to walking.

Every time I walk through the doors I feel the love and support we have here at East Cambridge from our children, parents, and staff. That’s when I knew I wanted to make East Cambridge my second home and part of my family. I recently became the center’s Program Specialist and I have loved every second of it.

I love to be a creative resource to help my co-teachers plan age-appropriate activities for our students. You will always see me walking around in the afternoons gathering materials to prepare a fun activity for the following day. East Cambridge has become my family from day one and I truly love and appreciate all the support I get each day from the families and staff at RRDC East Cambridge.
